My name is Nikki Eldred. I am a certified herbalist, endocannabinoid health consultant, and Gong Fu Cha teacher (the mindful art of Chinese tea), as well as the Head of Sourcing & Education for Plant Bar—an artisanal botanical drink company rooted in constitutional medicine and wellness. My work is guided by deep reverence for plants, medicine, and the healing path, shaped by the women in my lineage who inspire me to honor the intelligence of Nature.

My approach to medicine weaves together lifestyle medicine, Western herbalism, Chinese medicine, endocannabinoid and microbiome knowledge, elemental energetics, trauma awareness, alchemy, and the patterns of the natural world. I see all traditional medical systems as speaking a similar energetic language—different herbs, different words, same underlying truths about the body, spirit, and vitality. These patterns span from the micro to the macro, and I use them to understand what is happening in a client’s energetic and physical field, and how to address imbalances or disturbances with clarity and care in a way that is unique and approachable for the client.

In 2017, I graduated from the University of San Diego with 2 bachelors in Psychology and Sociology (with a concentration in law, crime and justice), as well as a minor in German. I graduated from Terra Sylva School of Botanical Medicine in 2021 - an intensive program rooted in community health, social justice awareness, elemental energetics, and botanical science. I then completed my Medical Cannabis Consultant certification through Pacific College of Health & Science, building on many years of self-study in medical cannabis, the endocannabinoid system, and the microbiome. Since 2017, much of my time and energy has been devoted to learning about medicine, healing and plants, through many avenues of education and experience outside of what’s mentioned above. My consultation work began in my early twenties in the cannabis industry, supporting medical clients who lacked access to informed guidance. After herbalism school, I launched my first business offering health consultations focused on lifestyle practices and hand-made herbal medicine—work I’ve continued for the last five years.

Today, I also serve as the Head of Sourcing & Education for Plant Bar, where I’ve played a central role in our growth, expansion, and educational development over the last 5 years. I created our coffee and tea programs (focused on the medicinal aspects of these plants), built our staff educational and training systems, and oversee all sourcing with a focus on bioregionalism and ethical relationships with farmers.
